How to Use Your Benefits

Participant Step-by-Step Guide

This guide explains how to use your FMNP benefits to purchase fresh produce at a participating farmers market using the Healthy Together app.

Step 1: Find a Participating Vendor

When you arrive at the farmers market:

• Look for vendors displaying a sign that says FMNP benefits are accepted

Only vendors showing this sign are authorized to accept your benefits.

Step 2: Choose Your Produce

• Select the fresh fruits and vegetables you want to purchase
• Once you’re ready to pay, open the Healthy Together app

Step 3: Open Your Wallet

1. Sign in to the Healthy Together app
2. Select the Wallet icon in the bottom-right corner of the screen
3. Your benefits card will appear at the top of the screen
4. Tap on the card

You’ll now see:

• Your QR code
• Details of past transactions
• Your remaining balance

Step 4: Show Your QR Code

• Show your QR code to the farmer or cashier
• The farmer will scan the QR code using their own device

If you have a physical FMNP benefits card with a QR code, you can use that instead.

Step 5: Enter Your PIN

• The farmer will hand you the device
• Enter your 4-digit PIN to authorize the purchase

Step 6: Confirm and Complete the Transaction

1. Review the transaction details on the screen
2. Make sure the amount is correct
3. Press Complete

Once finished, your transaction is complete and your balance will be updated.
